A.038 E-house, a detached house, Rosanow
In the vicinity of Lodz, near exit A1 on a motorway, in a small town of Rosanow, our investor has a plot that is adjacent to the forest on the southern side and to a paved as well as gravel road on the northern and eastern side. To ensure the best possible illumination of the interior of the house and the view of the forest, the house has the shape of the letter 'L' and is located directly at the intersection of the two roads. In this way body of the house also became a natural barrier ensuring privacy of occupants on the plot. However, because the windows on the inside of the plot did not illuminate the interior adequately, we had to fit in windows on the street side. The building elevation on this side was covered with perforated sheet, which also obstructs window openings and makes occupants feel comfortable inside. This solution provides occupants with light and a view to the outside, at the same time ensuring that nobody from outside can look inside the house.
