A.056 Ki-house, a detached house, Wroclaw
We received the task of implementing a house design for a family of four on a plot located in the forest in the vicinity of Wroclaw. In accordance with the provisions of development conditions, body of the building had to be traditional and covered by a symmetrical gable roof. The house was positioned as close to the plot entrance as possible so as to take up smallest possible area and to make it open to the Sun and the forest. The required function demanded large dimensions, so to break it down it was divided into two parts that were slightly spaced apart. This opening highlights functional zones of the house. The extra touch in body of the building is a frame enlarging the space of the living zone, which at the same time serves as a roofed terrace.
