A.067 House with a tower, a detached house, Rzeszow
‘I would like to build a contemporary house, but with a tower, like in a castle...' These are, among other things, the guidelines that we incidentally received during our first discussion about this design. A surprising task, but right from the start we realized that this sentence will be the key to the design. At the same time, we knew that we had to do it our way. Our idea turned out to be quite simple. We decided to group together all of the planned building uses within a long cuboid. Such created body of the building was logically grouped according to its intended use into: a living zone, a private zone, a technological zone and a recreational zone. The part of body of the building intended for technical use was separated from others and placed aside, so that the house would not appear very long. The part of body of the building for technological use was rotated relative to other parts and placed vertically, so that we obtained the tower effect.
